Health Benefits of Homemade Probiotic Dog Treats


These natural treats provide your dog with:

  • Probiotics for digestive health and immune support

  • Antioxidants from fresh berries

  • Omega-3s from flaxseed

  • Fiber from oats and fruit

  • No artificial preservatives or additives


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups plain, unsweetened Greek yogurt (with live probiotics)

  • 1 cup rolled oats, finely ground

  • ½ cup blueberries (fresh or thawed frozen)

  • 2 tablespoons raw honey (optional)

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons kefir

  • ½ cup coconut flour or whole wheat flour


Instructions:

  1. Blend blueberries and banana until smooth.

  2. Mix yogurt, kefir, and honey in a large bowl.

  3. Add blueberry-banana mixture, stir well.

  4. Combine ground oats, flaxseed, and coconut flour.

  5. Mix dry ingredients into wet until firm consistency.

  6. Scoop into silicone molds or roll into 1-inch balls.

  7. Freeze for 2 hours until firm.


Storage:

  • Refrigerated: 1 week

  • Frozen: 3 months

  • Thaw slightly before serving
